James Arnold Swafford

James Arnold Swafford, 80,of Athens, passed away on Sunday December 8, 2013. He was a member of Bethel Springs Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie (Morrow) Swafford; son, James "Jimmy" Edward Swafford; one brother and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jessie Swafford; son, Jeff and his wife Cindy Swafford of Cleveland; daughters and their husbands, Joyce and Robin Gober, of Athens and Judy and Rodney Kelley of Hereford, AZ; grandchildren, Katie Swafford, Stephanie Baker, Melisa Harrison, Caleb Kelly, Amanda Swafford and Corey Winder; six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM at Bethel Springs Baptist Church, Saturday Dec. 14, 2013 with Rev. Gene Guffy officiating.
