James Ray Mcelroy

James Ray McElroy, age 50, of Decatur, TN, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond McElroy; sister, Kathy Travis. He is survived by his mother, Helen (Letner) McElroy of Decatur, TN; son Corey Stokes, of Decatur, TN; daughter Nina McElroy Stokes of Decatur, TN; three brothers, Bobby McElroy, Carl McElroy and Billy McElroy, all of Decatur, TN; three sisters, Sue and Roger Coker, Lisa McElroy, both of Decatur, TN, Margaret McElroy of Montana. Funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2010 in the Bowers Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Taylor Colbaugh officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the funeral home.
