James William Daniels

James William "Bill" Daniels, 75, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Parkwest Hospital.

He was of the Baptist Faith. A good hearted man ;that loved to help others, a good Father and Papaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelena (Boles) Daniels, one son Steve Daniels, one daughter Norma Bryant.

He is survived by four daughters, Charlene Lou Crisp, Angie and Leon Judd, Melinda Daniels, Claudia Daniels, all of Decatur, and Reba Creasman of Athens; two sisters, Wanda and Rick Gossett of Decatur, Brenda and Charles Lowers of Chatsworth, GA; 8 Grandchildren, Megan Crisp, Krystal Burley, Jennifer Bryant, Cody Judd, Paula Charles, Shannon Bryant, Andy Colbaugh and Pam Colbaugh; 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral service is Sunday, Mar. 6 at 8 pm in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Lawrence Waller officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm, Sunday, Mar. 6 at the funeral home.

Interment will be 11 am, Monday, Mar. 7 in Roberts Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Johnny Dake, Cody Judd, Bill Crisp, Mickey Grady, Mark Pankey, Matt Pankey and Mike Pankey.
