Jack Wright

Jack Wright, 84 of the Cottonport Community in Meigs County, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his home.

He was a member of Cottonport Baptist Church, A 50 year member of Meigs Masonic Lodge F&AM, and Scottish Rights. He retired from T.V.A. and served and Meigs County Court Clerk for 20 years.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Wilma Jean Wright; parents Bill Wright and Irene Holland and brother Ray Wright.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Edwin and Patty Wright of Memphis, TN; granddaughter Andrea Wright Krimmel and husband Bobby of Spring Hill, TN; and two great grandsons Riley and Caden Krimmel of Spring Hill, TN; brother Leon Wright of
Decatur; sister-in-law Becky Wright of Manchester, TN; niece Donna Hickman and husband Taylor of Decatur; nephew Ronald Wright and wife Jackie of Manchester, TN; and special friends Catherine Moore and her family, Cathy Howard, Becky McHone and Lisa Gilchrist.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, from 5 until 7 p.m., will have a Masonic Service at 7 pm, with the funeral to follow at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Redman officiating.

Burial will be held at 11a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in the Cottonport Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Earl Wright, Dale Kile, Jake Kile, Jr., Doc Kile, Willis Boles, Jackie Melton.

Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Kile, Garland Lankford, Frank Wright, Jamey McKenzie and Ricky McHone.
