Jack Brannon Jolly

Jack Brannon Jolly, of Farragut, formerly of Meigs County, TN, passed away on February 13, 2012. He was born on March 23, 1923, in Chattanooga, TN. Married to Martha "Jean" Grubb for 62 years. Jack was a combat veteran, serving in the US Navy during World War II and Korea. He retired after 20 years of active duty. He also retired from Union Carbide Corporation Nuclear Division, working at both Y-12 and K-25. He was a principal partner in Lakehaven Golf and Country Club, Big Springs, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bertie (Ford) Jolly; brother, Edwin Jolly; sister, Sammye DeMarce. He is survived by wife, Jean; son, Jeff Jolly, Sr., and his wife, Gaye Gresham; and grandson, Jeff Jolly, Jr. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17th at the Beta Cemetery in Decatur.
