Ionia Vivian Smith

Ionia Vivian Smith, 94, of Ten Mile, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Life Care Center of Athens. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Claude Parker; second husband Glenn Smith; parents Charley and Mollie Ann (Chavez) Howard and by seven brothers and one sisters.. She is survived by one son Tommy Stansberry Smith of Decatur, TN; one sister Ann Flanigan of Memphis, TN; a Loving Sister-in-law who was also her care giver, Mary Ruth and Don Smith of Ten Mile, TN; two Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Ten Mile, TN. Pallbearers: Church members.
