Imogene Fitch

Imogene Fitch passed away on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014. She was born and raised in McMinn County, having lived in the Mouse Creek Community, her entire life. In 1957, she met Hubert Fitch, whom she married June 27th, 1959. He preceded her in death February 19th, 1995 after 36 years of marriage. She became a Christian at the age of 12 years old and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son David Fitch and his wife Lesia, one grandson Aaron Fitch, and one grand daughter Keri Fitch. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 6, at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 8pm Thursday in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamey Davis officiating. Graveside service will be at 9am Friday, at McMinn Memory Garden, Athens, TN, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, together again.
