Henry Bess Lillard

Henry Bess "Pete" Lillard, 97, a lifelong resident of Meigs county, TN, passed away March 21, 2015 at Brookewood Nursing Center in Decatur. She was the longest living member of the Decatur United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents John H. and Anna Mae Gallaher Lillard; sisters Alma Clyde Atkins, Emily Rhea Cockerham and Evalyn Worth Lillard; and brother, John Mason Lillard. She is survived by great niece Dana Lillard Gross. A graveside funeral service and interment will be held 11 am Tuesday at Decatur Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Decatur United Methodist Church.
