Henry Emil Batch

Henry Emil Batch, 82, of Decatur, died Monday Oct. 27, 2014. He was born in Wilkes-Darre, PA. on Feb. 13, 1932. Henry served our in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a gold card member of the VFW. Henry was the son of the late Charlie And Veronica Batch. He was also preceded in death by his grandson John Varga, his Aunt Sue and Uncle Emil. He is survived by sons J. Edwin Batch (Vern), of Canton, OH, James Batch (Karen), of Hollywood, Fl., Eric Batch (Carmen), of Valdosta, Ga., Paul Batch (Stacey), of Orange City, Fl.; daughter Joyce Varga (Richard), of Decatur, TN; grandchildren, Cassandra, Andrew and Jamie Varga, Alex, Steven, Dancan, David, Tara, Benny, Rick, Melissa and Tangi; fourteen great grandchildren; special friend Alma Hamrick, of Akron, OH. The family will have a private celebration of his life.
