Helen Vadith France

Helen Vadith (May) France, 87, of Decatur went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Life Care Center of Athens.

She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of the Womens Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Bessie (Walls) May; husband W. C. France; 2 sons, W. C. France III, John France.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy France of Athens; one sister Elizabeth Shearl of Summerfield, FL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm, Friday, March 18, 2016 with the funeral service starting at 8 pm, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Rymer officiating.

Graveside service will be at 11 am, Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the Mtn. View Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be family members
