Helen Bredwell, 72, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Erlanger Medical Center of Chattanooga.

She was a member of Bethsadia Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents Carl and Naomi Janow, sisters, Betty Janow, Margaret Janow.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Bill Bredwell of Decatur, son, Tony Bredwell of Decatur, brother, Richard Janow and Patsy of Athens, sisters, Kathleen Bredwell and Ralph of Decatur, Judy Walker and Mitchell of Athens. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends will all miss her.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Moore and Rev. Kyle Floyd officiating.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.

Interment will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Decatur.

Serving as Pallbearers, Steven Bredwell, Michael Bredwell, Henry Brigham, Eddie Walden, David Blizzard, Wayne brown.
