Hazel Dean Ricker

October 8, 1954 — April 15, 2020



Hazel Dean Fairbanks "Maw" Ricker, age 65, a lifelong resident of Ten Mile, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.



She was a daughter of the late Carson and Bessie Mae Hall Fairbanks and attended the Faith Baptist Church, Decatur.



She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces.



She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband of 47 years, Duke Ricker, her children Karen Fairbanks, Jake Ricker and his wife Pat, Faye Ricker, and April Ricker and her husband Logan. She was a strong woman who had lots of love for her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews.



A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating.



There will be no formal visitation.



The Ricker Family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for the kind and compassionate care they gave to Mrs. Ricker.
