Hazel Dean Wilson Bailey

Hazel Dean Wilson Bailey, age 84, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2022. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, working in the Piggly Wiggly deli 17 years, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a very kind and caring little lady with a big heart and hardworking hands toward any situation she came up against. She made a difference in our community always with a smile on her face and willingness to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Son and Janie Wilson, Siblings: Marie and Franklin "Buddy" Wilson, Husband: Frank Bailey, Daughters: Shelia King Cranfield and Angelia Connar, and Grandson: Nathan Goode. She is survived by her Son: Eddie (Gayle) King, Siblings: Jessie (Judy) Wilson and Sue (Scott) Wilson Bowman. Grandchildren and great grandchildren: Jesse (Julia) King; English (Derrick) Cranfield Roberts, Briar, Titan, Honor, Valor; Blake Cranfield; Tiffany Goode, Lily, Xaivier; Daniel Goode, Abel, Eden; Brittany (Jimmy) Smith, Jayden, Pressley, and Rylan Duke; Byran, Landan, Anya, Mack, Elainya, and Hudson Smith; Debbie, Justin, Briana, and Ian Holt, Special Friends: Roy Schisler, Gene Wade, and all the coworkers at the Piggly Wiggly. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service.
