Harry Collins

Harry N. Collins, age 88, of Georgetown, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2017 at his home. He was a United States Army Veteran, former Captain at South Meigs Co. Fire and Rescue, and was employed for over 40 years by Independent Glass Company, Chattanooga, TN. He was a faithful member of Burdette Baptist Church of Birchwood, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Vernie Cannon Collins, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Marjorie "Bootsy" Grubb Collins, daughter Debbie Collins Williford (Barrion) of Georgetown and a sister Blanche Cofer of Cleveland. Several special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Burdette Baptist Church with the Rev. James Staton officiating. Interment will follow in the Beta Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, from 12 until 2, at Burdette Baptist Church.
