Harriett Elizabeth (Coleman)(Lingerfelt) (Crowder, 63, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Starr Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher, AWANA teacher; Meigs County After School Program. She was an avid flower gardener. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allan Lingerfelt; her parents Winfred and Mattie L. (Coins) Coleman; sister Kaye Coleman Black; several brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Troy Crowder of Decatur; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Nita Lingerfelt of Tullahoma, TN; three brothers and two sister-in-laws, Nelson and Frankie Coleman of Athens, Donald Coleman of Niota, Joe and Donna Coleman of Rockford, TN; sisters, Norma Honeycutt of Oakdale, TN, Naomi Chapman of Wartburg, TN, Ruth and Acton Ratledge of Athens, Thelma McNutt of Athens, Joyce and Bert Alford of Cleveland, Carolyn King of Athens, Peggy and David Burger of Inglewood, Johnnie and Harold Markland of Athens, Phyllis and Roy Jackson of Athens; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of good Christian friends. Funeral services will be at 8 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 10 in Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Rowland and Rev Earl Graves officiating. Interment will be in the Valley Road Cemetery. Will leave funeral home in possession at 10 am, Wednesday, Feb. 11. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm, Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Douglas Jackson, Greg Charles, Russell Lingerfelt, Vance Lingerfeld, Scott Alford and Chad King.
