H. David Farmer

David Farmer , 69 of Ten Mile TN, went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2017 at his residence.

He retired from Bowater after 32 years and he attended the Dixon Avenue Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; George and Mary Lee Brown Farmer; Wife Brenda Farmer and a daughter Tiffany Scott.

Survivors include his sons: Mitch (Connie) Farmer of Englewood, TN and Russ Farmer of Decaturville, TN, Brothers; Dean Brown of Cleveland, TN., Jim Brown of Decatur, TN., Dale Farmer of Ocoee, TN and George Farmer, Jr. of Decatur, TN, Sisters; Evelyn Goins of Decatur, TN, Phyllis Laws, Patsy Flowers and Johnnie Johnson of Ten Mile, TN, and 6 grandchildren. A very special friend and companion Diane Locke of Etowah, TN, several nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Friday 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Watson officiating.

Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery on Saturday , August 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. Mitch Farmer, Mike Russell, Russ Farmer, Alex Farmer, Dylan Scott and Scotty Scott will serve as pallbearers. Delane Howard, Pharrell Jarvis, Demp Howard and Tony Wood will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6 until 8, at Bowers Funeral Home prior to the services.
