Glenn Dale Mckeighan

Glenn Dale McKeighan, 78, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died Friday, June 12, 2015 at Starr Regional Medical Center. He was of the Morman Faith. He was a all city football player for Abraham Lincoln High School 1953-1954. He was a race car driver at Playland Park Z62. He was employed by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 32 yeasrs as a Intermogal Manager. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. He attended Omaha University. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Vaught McKeighan; parents, Alva and Hazel McKeighan; sons Randall McKeighan and Chaunte McKeighan; Kerry McKeighan; sister Vona Scott. He is survived by her two brothers and one sister-in-law, Alvie and Judy McKeighan of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lonnie McKeighan of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 3 grandchildren, Daniel and Christina McKeighan, Jeremiah and Melissa Hughes, Bristol McKeighan; 5 great grandchildren, Megan Crowder, Madison, Eli, Lilly, and Kenzlee Hughes; special friends Peggy French Johnson and Candy Demory. He will be transported back to Iowa for visitation and funeral at Cutler - ONeill - Meyer - Woodring Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, IA, then laid to rest in the Cresent Cemetary, Cresent, Iowa. Pallbearers: Daniel McKeighan, Alvie McKeighan, Dan McKeighan, Ron Doughman, Dick Gilman and John Winchester.
