George L. Mullinax, 66, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday March 10, 2013. George was preceded in death by his father, Albert Mullinax; mother, Willie Mullinax; daughter, Julie Mullinax. He is survived by son Gabe Mullinax; grandchildren, Samuel, Allie and Chayton Mullinax, of Knoxville; his sister, Helen Millican and her family, of Chattanooga; nephew, David Millican and his family of Lafollette; and by his dearest friend Marie Moore and her family, Connie Sparkman, of North Carolina and Trey Cantrell of Cookville, TN A memorial celebration of life will be held for George at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with military honors on Saturday, March 23 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please buy a bucket of minnows and plan a fishing trip in memory of him.
