Fred Thomas “Tommy” Wyatt Jr., age 72, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.
He was the son of the late Fred and Kitty Holland Wyatt. He worked for Hudson of Tennessee for 25 years and built the McDonald’s in Decatur, He loved to ride his motorcycle, golfing, and being around his friends and family, which always put a smile on his face.
He is preceded in death by his sisters: Brenda Walden, Freida Skidmore.
He is survived by his daughter: Dana (Ben) Allen; grandson: Austyn Allen; special friends: Stan Hyde, Frank Wright, Craig and Tammy Oestreich, Neil Campbell, Chuck Kowlsen; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Mike Rymer and Bro. Darrell Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m., prior to the service.
