Frank Wilford Johnson

Frank Wilford Johnson, 78. Of Decatur, TN, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Brookewood Nursing Center. He was of the Baptist Faith; He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Legion. He was an Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ada (Long) Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Louise Johnson; sister Faye Wilson; brother-in-law Bud Finnell. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Rodney and Karen Johnson, Danny and Johnnie Johnson, all of Decatur; one step son, Stevie Lawson of Decatur; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Kenneth and Pat Johnson of Shreveport, LA, Paul and Frances Johnson of Decatur; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ethel Finnell of Louisville, KY, Jennifer Corbitt of Decatur; two grandchildren, Jason and wife Jessica Johnson, Jake Johnson; 2 great grandchildren, Addie and Sarah Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Redman officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
