Frances Louise Summers

Louise Rickman Summers, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday Feb. 24, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Decatur First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Jones,k Sr. and Francis Madgeline Grammer; husband Benjamin "Cleo" Summers; son Ray Rickman; 2 grandchildren, Scott Kile and Ronald Hicks; brothers Will Harvey and Earnest Jones. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-aw, Ben Summers of Decatur, TN, Haven and Maryann Rickman of Petersburg, VA; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Dr. Mickey Peshoff of LA; one brother Robert Earl Goad of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Angie Rickman, Alicia Haas, Brad Rickman, Greg Rickman, Diane and Jeff Womac, Darlene and Rick King, Dee Dee and Rob Dean, Dan Whaley; and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at the Bowers Funeral Home located at 163 Arrants Ave., Decatur, TN. Funeral services will be held in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 with Rev. Jamie Davis officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers; Jeff Womac, Steven Bishop, Joey Bishop, Bobby Dukes, Bowley Wimberly and Mike Goins.
