Frances Diana "Lucy" Ratledge Strickland, age 49, of Decatur, Tennessee died on August 5, 2011 at her residence. She moved here 1 year ago from Icard, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Opal Ratledge; brother William "Bill" Ratledge; sister, Mary Linda Ratledge. She is survived by her husband, Edward Wayne Strickland of Decatur, TN, three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Jason and Rhonda Strickland, Steven Strickland, William "Pewee" and Sarah Strickland, all of NC; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Strickland and Richard Setzer of NC; three brothers and sister-in-law, James and Evelyn Ratledge, Mike and Peggy Ratledge, Larry and Bernice Ratledge, all of Illinois; five sisters and three brother-in-laws, Alice Goins of Cleveland, TN, Fannie Underhile of Decatur, TN, Bernice and Mike Gunning of Wisconsin, Nan and Mike Kenmon of Spring City, TN, Tammy and Donald Carver of Decatur, TN; 5 Grandchildren, Haily Strickland, Jason "Kipper" Strickland, Erica Lynn Weese, Heather "Meme" Strickland and Steven "Bubbie" Strickland, Jr. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service.
