Frances Delphene Monroe

Frances Delphene Monroe, age 79, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 25, 2012, at her residence in Decatur, TN. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Oma Davis; brothers, Ross Davis, Robert (Bob) Davis, Wayne Davis, Eugene (Gene) Davis; sisters, Margaret (Margie) McCain. She is survived by her husband Paul Monroe of Decatur, TN; Son, Michael Monroe of Decatur, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Terry Oliver of Decatur, TN, brothers, Clyde Davis, Glen and Faye Dais, Stanley Davis, all of Decatur, TN; sisters, Barbara and Ronnie Powell of Georgetown, TN, Shirley Melton of Hixson, TN, Sandra Johnson of Decatur, TN; sister-in-laws: Evelyn Davis, Carlene Davis, Barbara Davis, Bonnie Davis; Grandchildren, Jeremy Monroe, Adam (Kristi) Roberts, C.J. (Colby) Oliver all of Decatur, TN; Aunts, Veda (Fred) Miller, Mildred Ray; Uncle Kenneth Davis; many nieces and nephews; Special Cousins, Max Walker and Tom Guinn. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012 with Reverends, Jamie Davis, Mike Rymer and Ronnie Powell officiating, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Dustin Davis, Michael Monroe, Donnie Davis, C.J. Oliver, Adam Roberts.
