Evelyn Davis

Evelyn Louise Davis, 82, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on Friday Feb. 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Davis; son, Terry Davis; sister, Joann Davis; granddaughter, Laurie Davis. Evelyn is survived by her son, Freddy Davis and his wife Betty, of Decatur; daughter, Cindy King and her husband David, of Dayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Jean Bandy, of Decatur and Eddie and Carolyn Bandy, of Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren, Jamey and Elizabeth Davis, Keri and Aaron Fitch, Seth King and Nathan King; great grandchildren, Elisha, Shiloh and Jules Davis; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home at 7 pm on Saturday, Feb. 7 with Rev. Jamey Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sunday at 2 pm. Pallbearers: Jamey Davis, Aaron Fitch, Seth King, Nathan King, Bryan Powers, William Davis.
