Ernest Jackson Teas, Jr., age 81, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his residence.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and training horses.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Ernest, Sr. and Bessie Albney Teas; sisters: Betty (Randall) Tate, Polly (Robert) Cluck; granddaughter: Amy Colbaugh.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Mary Teas; children: Jackie (Joyce) Charles, Jeff Charles, Tesha (Tim) Sloan; grandchildren: Jeffrey Charles, Austin Charles, Devan Charles, Jackson Sloan, Jamie (Tony) Ferry, Robbie (Ashley) Colbaugh; sister: Teene Hughes; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
