Elizabeth Wiggins, 79, of Decatur, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family singing Amazing Grace at the Turkey Creek Medical Center. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Elizabeth was born August 28, 1937, a resident of Meigs County for most of her life. She was a member of Peakland Baptist Church. Her faith and family were at the center of her life. She enjoyed singing for the Lord and lifting others in prayer. She was a former cafeteria worker at Fairview Elementary School and a Home Health CNA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years James "Bunny" Wiggins, her parents Charles and Ruby Hearon, infant twins Patrick and Patsy Wiggins, a son Loyd Wiggins, Sisters: Ailene Jones and Orene Todd, Brothers: Tommy Hearon, Anderson Todd.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn and Bobby Mullins and Leavon and Jake Kile, and Gail Wiggins, grandchildren and spouses: Scotty and Mitzie Wiggins, Patsy and Mike Dixon, Kelly and Austin Lunsford, Chris and Cassie Kile, Larry Mullins, Crystal and Zach Hester, Steven and Falon Smith, Madison Wiggins, Elijah Wiggins, Eighteen Great-Grandchildren and two daughter-in-laws Jeanne Wiggins, Amy Wiggins, Brothers: David Hearon of Kingston, Jack (Rita) Hearon of Ten Mile, Sisters: Geneva Gates of Niota, Betty Whitted of Maryville, Joyce Brock of Knoxville, several nieces and nephews and special friends.

The funeral will be conducted 8 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Bro. David Latham and Pastor Don Matoy officiating.

Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jacob Kile, Cainan Howard, Larry Mullins, Mikey Dixon, Eddie Armour, Austin Lunsford.

Honorary pallbearers: Ryan Kile, Charley Kile, Steven Smith, Mike Dixon, Wil Mullins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00- 8:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Bowers Funeral Home.
