Edna Mae Edgemon

Edna Mae Enix Trew Edgemon, age 98 of Ten Mile, TN went home to be with the Lord Wednesday June 15, 2011. She was the original founder and owner of Sam's Boat Dock, a charter member of Lakeside Baptist Church, and a member of the FCE for over 50 years. She loved to quilt and make crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Feb Crabtree Enix; first husband, Elbert Monroe Trew; second husband, Sam Edgemon; daughter, Elizabeth Mae Trew; 2 brothers, James Thomas and Thurman Enix; 2 sisters, Ella Ellison and Iva Lee Roberts She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Elberta and Ross Broadway; sister, Ruth Ellison; several nieces and newphews; and special friend and caregiver Katie Rowland. Pallbearers are Larry Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Lewis Thompson, Andy Edgemon, Ronnie Reed, Lyle Hainlin. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Chattanooga or your favorite charity. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17 at 8 P.M. at the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg McCosh and Ray Brown officiating. Internment Saturday at 11 A.M. at Edgemon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 5-8 at the Funeral Home.
