Edith Lucille Chaffins Manns

Edith Lucille Chaffins Manns, age 92, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024.

She was a daughter of the late Ance and Effie Blair Chaffins. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved singing gospel music and sang with many groups. She was a member of Little Dove Baptist Church in Belo, WV. She attended Fifth Avenue Church of Christ in Williamson, WV and Birchwood Baptist in Birchwood, TN. Her greatest joy in life was telling people about Jesus and sharing his love.

She is preceded in death by daughter: Shelia Marcum; son: Darrell Andrew Lucas; first husband: Andrew “Bud” Lucas; second husband: Jack Manns; great-granddaughter: Gracie Lucas; several siblings.

She is survived by her daughter: Pamela (Ernest) Woody; grandchildren: Chasitity (Darren) Muncy, Brandon (Brandy) Marcum, Cody (Kayla) Hensley, Casie (Jacob) Cantrell, Bobby (Kristy) Lucas; Timmy (Babs) Lucas, Tonya Hickman; great-grandchildren: Mckenzie Muncy, Carter Marcum, Emily Marcum, Mason Hensley, Lilly Hensley, MJ Cantrell, Monroe Cantrell, Marlee, Addi Lucas; special friend and sister-in-law: Barb; other extended family.

A private graveside service was held at Decatur Cemetery.
