Earl Kenneth Letner

Earl Kenneth Letner, age 79, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at his residence. He was Pastor of Ten Mile Holiness Church for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Maude (Clark) Letner; his loving wife Dorothy (Armour) Letner; son Ronald Keith Letner; brothers Johnny, Lester, Chester (Big Boy) Billy, Elmus (Curley), Robert (Cotton), J. W. (Dub) Letner; 2 sister Mary (Monk) Gunter and Wanda Faye Letner; sister-in-law Louise Letner; brother-in-laws, J. C. Gunter, Country John Letner and Frank Aikman.. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Carolyn Letner of Trion, GA; three sisters Ann Letner of Ten Mile, Ruby Letner Trusley of Georgetown, Faye Letner of Ten Mile; one grandson Triston Letner and wife Alisha; one great granddaughter who he was very proud of Alayna Grace Letner; 5 sister-in-laws, Reba Letner, Connie Letner, both of Ten Mile, Bettye Letner of Harrison, Mable Butler and husband Neil of Ten Mile, Francis Ann Haskel and husband Brownie of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and a host of good friends. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delmar Queen officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m., Sat., Dec. 1, in the Roberts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30 at the funeral home.
