Doyle Milburn Harmon Sr.

Doyle Milburn Harmon Sr., 87, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
A son of the late Mose Milburn and Dora Iva Benton Harmon. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church of Decatur, TN. He served the Meigs County Board of Education as a Teacher, Coach, and Principal for 36 years.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Charlotte Ford Harmon of Decatur, daughter; Brenda Sue Harmon of Decatur, son; Doyle Milburn Harmon Jr. (Marilyn) of Decatur, two grandsons; Jason Riley Harmon (Aimee) of Lebanon, TN, Lance Edward Harmon (Krista) of Ooltewah, TN, one great grandson; Tucker Ray Harmon, one great grand daughter; Rylee Mei Harmon, brother; Clyde Max Harmon (Linda) of Decatur, sister; Frances Harmon Harris (Don) of Cleveland, TN, niece; Donna Harris Scott (David) of Cleveland, TN, nephews; Dee Harris (Daphney) of Prosper, Texas, "Rusty" Harmon (Aimee) of Knoxville, TN.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Dunn and Rev. Jamey Davis officiating. Pallbearers; Robert Greene, Don Roberts, Allen Roberts, Clint Baker, Sonny Woodcock, Ronnie Hennessee.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Bowers Funeral Home.
Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Decatur Cemetery.
