Douglas Mcarthur Staton

Douglas M. Staton, age 76, of Riceville, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at a healthcare facility in Knoxville, TN.

He was a son of the late Jesse and Pearl Picklesimer Staton and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Poteet Staton, his daughter, Tammy Barnwell, and eleven siblings.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other extended family and friends.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to donate to your favorite charity.
