Dorothy Elizabeth Letner

Dorothy Elizabeth Letner, 74, went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2012. She was a lifelong native of Meigs County and a faithful member of Ten Mile Holiness Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Keith Letner; parents, W.B. and Annie Armour; stepfather, Charlie Cansler; stepsister, Gloriana Couch and stepbrother Vernon Cansler. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 50 years, Earl K. Letner of Ten Mile, TN; grandson, Tristan Letner and wife Alisha, of Sumter, SC; two sisters and their spouses, Mabel and Neil Butler of Ten Mile, Frances and Brownie Heiskell of Hixson; sister-in-laws, Ann Letner, Connie Letner and Reba Letyner, all of Ten Mile; Berrye Letner, Harrison; Louise Letner of Chattanooga; Ruby Letner, of Georgetown; one brother-in-law and spouse Howard and Carolyn Letner of Trion, GA; and several family and friends. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday, 9-23-12 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delmer Queen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm, Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Roberts cemetery at 11 a.m., Monday.
