Diann Antineat "Netta" Goldston-Shropshire, 40, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James U. and Louise Bowerman, of Decatur; and maternal grandparents Lincoln and Jeanette Goldston, of Cleveland; son, Christopher Bernard Shropshire; uncle, James. H. Bowerman, of Decatur. Survivors include her husband, Bernard Shropshire, of Chattanooga; father and step mother, Pastor Leroy and Alinda Bowerman, of Decatur; mother, Louise Goldston Williams, of Cleveland; sisters, Teresa Goldston and Jeanette Reece, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Jerome Goldston, Leroy Bowerman Jr.,Samuel Bowerman, all of Cleveland; step-daughter, Alexus Shropshire; special god son, T. J.; father-in-law, Bobby Shropshire, of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Beatrice Glasco, of Chattanooga; brother-in-law Bobby Shropshire Jr and sister-in-law Candice Shropshire, of Lakeland, Fl.; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel 2 pm Monday with the Rev. Rodney Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm Monday. honorary pallbearers will be Willis Goldston, Eric Goldston, Claude Goldston, Minister Kelly Hammonds, Charles Swafford, Tony Blair, Chuck Swafford, Terrance Sterling and Aaron Williams. Flower girls will be Tianna Bowerman, Dezonia Peterson, Alexus Shropshire, Mattie Shelby, Carrie Goldston, Special friend Tiffany Wilson, Teresa Goldston, Jeanette Reese and Jasmine Reese.
