Dempsey Dean Rinehart

Dempsey Dean Rinehart, age 84, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center of Chattanooga.

He was the last of six sons born to the late Dock Witt Rinehart, Sr. and Elva Falls Rinehart. He was a retired Lineman and is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Rinehart.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Beavers Rinehart; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kris and Kim Rinehart of Decatur and Michael Rinehart of Englewood; one granddaughter, Petra; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.

There will be no formal visitation.
