Deborah Kay Shelton

Deborah Kay Shelton, 47, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. She was a member of Woodward Ave. Church of God, Athens. Deborah was also a member of CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) and Women in the Wind. She was preceded in by one brother, Les Sykes; one sister-in-law, Janice Eason. Survivors include her father, Larry King and mother, Kay King, of Cleveland; husband, Benny Shelton, of Decatur; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Jessica Shelton, of Graysville, and Travis and Regena Shelton, of Cottonport; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Eschette, of Birchwood; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Kevin Eason, of Kansas City, MO and Jeff and Kim Eason, of Des Moines, IA; four grandchildren, Kensley and Kaylee Shelton, of Graysville and Whyatte and Maddox Lambert, of Birchwood.. The funeral will be held at 12pm, Fri. Nov. 6, 2015 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Eason, Pastor Matthew Johnson and Pastor Lee Shelton officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service Friday in the Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
