David Harold Crowe

David Crowe, 68, of Athens passed away at his home February 3, 2018. He was a life-long resident of Athens and enjoyed fishing. He was a Baptist and attended Clearwater Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Thelma Crowe; a son, Allen Crowe; and a brother, Jerry Crowe.

Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Rella Crowe of Athens; Sons, Murle (Sue) Crowe and Steven Crowe, both of Riceville; Step-son, Allen Missildine of Athens; step-daughter, Teresa (Darijan) Mustar of Riceville; a sister, Margaret McKee of Niota; two grandchildren, Makatylan Crowe and Ciara Hayes; and a nephew and niece, Larry Dale Redmond of Niota and Debbie Walker of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11am at Bowers Funeral Home in Decatur with Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Clearwater Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
