David Lee Adams, Jr.

David Lee Adams, Jr., age 54, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. He enjoyed cooking, watching westerns, farming, gardening, remodeling, wood working, riding horses, being out on the boat, and working on his project truck. He loved spending time with his family dearly. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He is preceded in death by his father: David Lee Adams, Sr.; sister: Tammy Adams. He is survived by wife of 13 years: Diane Thomason Adams; mother: Judy Adams; children: Taylor Adams (Amber), Craig Powell (Leanna), Amanda Powell (Matthew Recht), Matthew Powell; siblings: Cheryl Plank (Tim), Robyn Cline (Joe), Lori Orcutt (Greg), Angie Adams, Kim Adams; 8 grandchildren and one on the way, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 7 p.m. In the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Joe Cline officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Goodfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 prior to the service on Tuesday.
