Darrell David Daniels

Darrell David Daniels, age 80, of Ten Mile, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Darrell was a member of Meigs Lodge #213 F.&A.M., where he provided exemplary service over his 51 years of membership. He held the esteemed position of Worshipful Master in 1985, a testament to his commitment and leadership within the organization.

Darrell was a proud member of Pisgah Baptist Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith. He devoted 35 years of his life to the Y-12 National Security Complex, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

He was preceded in death by parents, Bonder and Ruth Daniels; sisters, Charlotte Daniels, Jann Longmire.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Linda Daniels; children, Wayne Daniels, Kris Daniels , Kristy (James) Trusley; grandchild, Connor Daniels; brother, Kevin (Rita) Daniels; niece, Lora (Steve) Hall; nephews, Josh and Adam Daniels, Kelly and Tommy Keck, Benjamin and Jonathan Marchi; special brother-in-law, Jack Keck; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann (Tony) Marchi; other extended family and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Victor Abernathy and the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.

Interment will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 30, 2026 in the Pisgah Cemetery with Masonic rites. Jerry Franklin, Ronnie Franklin, Kelly Keck, Tommy Keck, Adam Daniels, and Steve Hall will be serving as pallbearers.
