Darlene Krouse

Cathy "Darlene" Krouse, 58, of Ten Mile passed away at her home July 25, 2018.She was born in Athens and had been a resident of Ten Mile for the past 34 years. Cathy loved animals, the mountains and the beach. She also loved her family very much. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Joyce Womac; her paternal grandparents, Carl and Leana Mae Womac; and her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Pearl Rockholt.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 41 years, Ted Krouse of Ten Mile; two daughters, Krystal Brakehill of Calhoun and Angie (Brandon) Ogle of Ten Mile; a sister, Claudia (Carl) Voyles of Athens; Eight grandchildren, Brittany (Benjamin) Graves II, Zakk Haupert (Rae Wiley), Madox Haupert, Alissa Howard and fianc, Elijah Alexander, Brandon Howard (Savannah Smith), Mickey Ogle, Crimson Ogle, and Billy Ogle; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Bryndley; and many extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Bowers Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm with Bill Pearman officiating. Burial will be in Beta Cemetery at 10:30am on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Pall bearers include Brandon Howard, Zakk Haupert, Ben Graves II, Brandon Ogle, Shane Haupert, Elijah Alexander, Carl Voules, and Jason Voyles with Madox Haupert and Bryndley Graves serving as honorary pall bearers.
