Danny Ray Ware, 70, of Decatur passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born in Chattanooga, but at an early age his family relocated to Michigan where he lived for several years. He returned to Tennessee in his mid thirty's to live in Decatur.
Danny was a graduate of Beecher High School in Flint Michigan. He proudly served in the United States Air Force with an honorable discharge after three years of service. He loved to work on model cars and trains, especially the older styles. Danny was an extreme Detroit Tigers baseball fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Ware; an infant daughter, Amanda Ware; and an uncle, Harry Ware.
He is survived by his son, Damon Ware of Decatur; daughters and sons-in-law, Wendi and James Fournier of Grand Blanc, MI and Demi and Jordan Gregory of Knoxville; a brother, Larry Ware of Madison, AL; and six grandchildren.
There will be no formal visitation or services at Mr. Ware's request.
An informal gathering of friends will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Bowers Funeral Home in Decatur.
