Danny Clyde Curnutt

Danny Clyde Curnutt, age 83, of Ten Mile, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was a son of the late Troy and Lillie Mae Case Curnutt. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Chaplin at Meigs Lodge #213 F.&A.M, and a member of Athens Camp of the Gideons International. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Laura "Gertie" Curnutt. He is survived by his children: Brenda (Ray) Luisa, Melinda Curnutt; siblings: Jim Curnutt, Sharon Carpenter; grandchildren: Stephani Luisa, Nick Curnutt; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church (110 Eaves Ferry Rd, Decatur, TN 37322) with the Rev. Mike Couch and Bro. Curtis Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with a Masonic Service to follow.
