Cynthia Jean Gardner
July 19, 1960 — January 28, 2020
Cynthia Jean Gardner, age 59, of Athens and formerly of Deltona, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Athens, TN.
She was preceded in death by parents Ronald Richard Gardner, SR and Carol Emiley Seither Gardner.
Survivors include: her brother Ronald Gardner, JR of Deltona, FL, sisters: Debra Downs of Athens, TN, Karen Masterton of Athens, TN, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home at 2 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 with the Rev. Van Elkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Deltona Memorial Gardens in Deltona, FL. At a later date.
Bowers Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gardner family.
