Connye Davis

Connye Ballew Davis, 43, of Ten Mile, formerly of Athens, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014. She was born May 2, 1971 in Athens ,TN and was of the Baptist faith. Connye was the daughter of the late Curtis and Wilma "Sis" Ballew. She is survived by her husband David "Rob" Davis, of Ten Mile; son William McFarland, of Ten Mile; daughter and her husband Brittney and Matthew Rentz, of Knoxville; grandson, Nathaniel Rentz; brother Chris and his wife Janice Ballew, of Athens; sister and her husband, Sandra and Tim Moses, of Decatur; mother-in-law, Mary Nell Palmer, of Dunlap; special aunts, Jane Powell, Bernice Woody and uncle Jim Huff; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Saturday Oct. 25 at 12 pm with the Rev. Curtis Porter officiating.
