Clyde Randall Emerson

Clyde Randall Emerson, age 46, of Decatur, TN went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2011 at the Athens Regional Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church. He was a Member of Meigs County AMVETS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Lawrence and Pauline (Gardard) Emerson. He is survived by one son Randy Lee Emerson of Decatur, TN; three sisters and two brother-in-laws, Charlotte Ruth Powell of Charleston, TN, Thelma Joann and Rickey Lee Clowers of Ten Mile, TN, Ronda Gale and Keith Vaughn of Niota, TN. Pallbearers will be Randy Emerson, Bobby Reed, Steven Mow, Richard Clowers, Harley Clowers, Michael Berry. Alternates will be Rickey Clowers and Rocky Willis. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday September 28, 2011 in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rickey Mooneyhan officiating. Internment will be at Goodfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
