Clyde Ray Lackey

Clyde Ray Lackey, age 83, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his son's residence in Ten Mile, TN.

He was born in Caldwell County, NC on November 10, 1936 to the late Boyd and Nellie Keller Lackey.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Addie Teeters Lackey, a son: Donald Lee Lackey, a sister: Estell Lackey Fox, and Brothers: Floyd Lackey, Bobby Lackey, George Lackey, Tommy Lackey

He is survived by: sons: Clyde Wayne Lackey, Ricky Lackey, Terry Lackey, a daughter: Doris Lackey Freeman, sisters: Melba Lackey White and Beatrice Lackey Myers, grandchildren: Robbie Freeman, Melony Freeman, Carrie Lackey Jenkins, Chelsea Lackey Parmelee, Sharise Lackey, Serena Lackey, Alexiss Lackey Waters and Larissa Lackey and great grandchildren: Nathanael Freeman, Millie Freeman, Rachael Freeman, Gabriel Freeman, Aden Pennington, Alec Jenkins, Justice Lackey and Abbigail Waters.

The celebration of life for Mr. Clyde Ray Lackey will be held at New Life Baptist Church Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at 5:00pm.

The family will receive friendsfrom 4:00 to 5:00 at the church prior to the service.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to New Life Baptist Church, 2111 Walt Arney Rd. Lenoir, NC 28645.
