Clifford Ronald Elkins

Clifford Ronald Elkins was born on January 14, 1938 to the late Reverend Haverd and Ruby O’Daniel Elkins and joined them in heaven on January 16, 2023 at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his wife: Shizuko “Miki” Elkins, a son: Steve Elkins, and a grandson: Austin Steven. Clifford was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served two tours of duty in Vietnam and retiring with over 20 years of service. He is survived by his daughter: Joni (Steve) Steven, daughter-in-law: Misty Boyd Elkins, grandchildren Houston and Alexis Steven and Jacob and Olivia Elkins, a great-grandson: Easton Elkins, Brothers: Hershal (Barbara) Elkins and Kenneth (Naomi) Elkins, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Van Elkins officiating. A private committal service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service.
