Cletus Carlton Scroggs, 78 of Athens, Tennessee, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his home.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Decatur.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; W. A. and Daisy Witt Scroggs and brothers James and Elmer Scroggs and a sister Carrie Eaves.

He is survived by is wife of 8 years Betty Scroggs of Athens TN, sons Keith Scroggs, Carl Scroggs, daughters Mary Scroggs, Libby Scroggs, Angie Scroggs, Sally Scroggs, Bonita Scroggs, sisters Ester Gardner, Cora Campbell and Patsy Johnson.
