Claude Ralph Womac

Claude Ralph Womac, 79, of Ten Mile, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at his residence. Claude attended New Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a member of the V.F.W., 39ers Club, and IBEW local 1323. He retired from T.V.A and served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Womac and Lena Mae Casteel Womac; wife, Joyce Rockholt Womac; brothers, Larry Womac and Robert Womac and 2 infant brothers. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Claudia and Carl Voyles, of Athens and Darlene and Ted Krouse, of Ten Mile; brother, Thomas Womac, of Athens; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday Sept 17 from 12-2 pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at Beta Cemetery 2:30 pm Wednesday. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
