Clark Harley Dodson

Clark H. Dodson, age 69, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 6, 2011, in the Turkey Creek Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Spring City, TN. He was appointed Colonel of Tennessee May 30, 1985 by Lamar Alexander He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Dodson; two brothers, Donald and Chester Allen Dodson; first wife Edna Hughes Dodson. He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Whitted) Dodson of Ten Mile, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Dani Kay Dodson; two grandsons, Johnathan and wife Rikki Dodson of Ten Mile, TN, Jeremy Dodson of Ten Mile, TN; two great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Mackenzie Dodson both of Ten Mile, TN; two brothers Noel and Eddie Dodson and wife Barbara Dodson of Spring City, TN, sister-in-law Ileen Dodson of Spring City, TN; one step daughter Colleen and husband Tony Posa of Paint Rock, TN; one step son Ricky and wife Michelle Strickland of Niota, TN; two step granddaughters, Brittany and Caitlen Posa; one step grandson Tyler Martin, all of Paint Rock, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011, at the Bowers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2011 with Brother Jim Bowers officiating. Pallbearers will be Tyler, Tony, Eddie, Ricky, Mike and David.
