Christina Dawn Evans

Christina Dawn "Tina" Evans, 25, of Decatur, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones Saturday Dec. 19, 2015.

Christina will be remembered as a bright life that touched everyone she met. She had an unbreakable will and inner strength that was truly heroic. She was a very colorful and crafty individual who loved fashion, makeup, and hair. She also loved reading and comic books. She was a very selfless caring person who loved nothing more than spending time with her friends, family, her husband and best friend Josh and their five dogs. She was loved by all her family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her father Michael Anthony Shaver.

She is survived by her husband: Josh Evans, her mother: Donna Williams and step-father John Williams, brothers: Michael Anthony Shaver II and Christopher Colton Rose and wife Bridget, brother-n-law: Justin Evans and wife Kristianna, grandmothers: Mary Katherine Shaver, Gaila Williams, Erma Rue, two nephews: Landon and Brantley, niece: Mayci, uncles: Scott Edward Shaver and wife Karen, Richard Norman Shaver and wife Tracy, aunts: Barbara Rebecca Harris and husband Velt, Linda Robin Samuels, numerous loving cousins and their extended families: pets: Suzie, Bob, Travis, Bernie, Bufford Evans, very special friends: Emily Smith of Georgia and Kayla Girod of Decatur.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday January 2, 2016 at Bowers Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. with Josh Evans and Scott Shaver officiating.

As a last act of love and kindness, Christina asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the McMinn County Regional Humane Society at 219 Alford St. Athens, TN 37303.
